Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Who we are
VISH TECH SOLUTIONS, registration number 2023 / 160398 / 07, is a South African private company providing IT consulting and technology services. For purposes of POPIA, Vish Tech Solutions is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and in connection with enquiries submitted to us.
2. Personal information we collect
We collect only information reasonably required to receive and respond to enquiries and to operate this website. This may include:
- Your name, business email address and telephone number.
- The service area you select and information you include in an enquiry or other communication.
- Information and contact metadata you choose to send by email, telephone or WhatsApp.
- Limited technical information recorded by our hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser type, request time and pages requested.
We generally receive this information directly from you. If another person submits an enquiry on your behalf, we may receive it from that authorised representative.
Submitting an enquiry is voluntary. Name, business email and message are required when using our website form; phone and area of interest are optional. Without the required fields, we cannot receive and answer the enquiry through the form. Please do not send children’s information, health information, identity numbers or other special or sensitive information through the general enquiry channel unless we specifically request it.
3. How and why we use information
We process personal information for specific, lawful business purposes, including to:
- Respond to enquiries and understand your technology requirements.
- Understand your request and prepare a consultation or proposal when you ask us to do so.
- Manage and retain our business correspondence and follow-up.
- Protect our website, systems, clients and users against misuse or security threats.
- Comply with a legal obligation that applies to a specific enquiry or communication.
Enquiry details are processed to take steps you request before a possible engagement. Correspondence may be retained for our legitimate interest in managing business communications and resolving questions or disputes. Limited technical and security records may be processed for our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website. If a specific law requires us to retain or disclose information, we will process only what that obligation requires.
5. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to meet a legal requirement, or to resolve disputes. We delete or destroy personal information, or de-identify it, as soon as reasonably practicable after we are no longer authorised to retain it.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, but we review and improve our safeguards as our services evolve.
6. Website technologies
This website currently uses technologies needed to display pages, secure hosting and process enquiry forms. If you choose light or dark mode, that preference is stored in your browser's local storage so the site can remember it on that device. The theme preference does not identify you or leave your device through this feature. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated.
Our WhatsApp links open a third-party service provided by WhatsApp/Meta. If you choose to contact us there, Vish Tech Solutions will receive the information and contact details you choose to send, while WhatsApp processes information under its own privacy policy. Send only the information needed for your enquiry.
7. Your rights
Subject to POPIA and any applicable limitations, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction or deletion. You may also object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain if you believe your information has been handled unlawfully.
